The update:This is a hard email to write, but I promised myself that I would be honest with everyone and let you know the truth about what's been going on this last month with the course. I know it's been basically silence from the email list on this front, and as people who've purchased the course you deserve an explanation. Thank you so much for your patience during this time. The short explanation is that I burnt out on the course right as the course released into Early Access March 20th. I had planned to record more videos the following week and even took it off of work to do so, but then each day on my vacation I sat frozen at my computer and just couldn't press record. I had been putting in 4-6 hours after work on the course for weeks leading up to the early access and it just wasn't sustainable. I see that now, hindsight being what it is. So, here's the deal, I'm pushing back the full release date to early June. I know this isn't the expectation I set before you purchased the course, so if you need to contact me for any questions, or reasons you have my email (just hit reply to this email, or email me directly at andrea.fomera@gmail.com). As a purchaser in early access you will continue to have access as I do post lessons, that's not going anywhere. About the rest of the course... Someone once told me, the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. So I'm going to approach the course like that, one bite at a time. However I recognize I need some time to recover, and get progress moving forward again. Balancing a full-time job (I just hit 5 years at Podia today), working on the course and taking care of other responsibilities are a lot, and there will be days that I can't accomplish any work on the course despite my best efforts. Regardless I promised to deliver a course, and I will do so. I plan to work throughout the rest of April and May to deliver more videos than I have released, with June as my fallback. I hope you'll understand the delay, once again if it doesn't work for you any longer please reach out and I'm happy to ensure you're taken care of. If there's any questions please email me and we'll work things out. Thank you for your patience and understanding, - Andrea |
